"I joined the school band as a child and immediately fell in love with the flute. I was drawn by the lyrical sound, warm colors and the beautiful and diverse repertoire written for the instrument. Through the years, I have been grateful to have performed with many university and community ensembles and music has remained a constant in my life. As an adult and a returning scholar, I studied music at Roosevelt University, Chicago College of Performing Arts in the studio of renowned flutist Eugenia Moliner (www.eugeniamoliner.com). My studies afforded me the opportunities to be taught, coached and mentored by elite artists and as a result of my experiences Assai Arts Management was founded with the mission to support world class musicians and connect audiences to classical and contemporary music."
